Commercial Property Accountant
Grade SH7
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide comprehensive professional accountancy and general financial advisory services at the highest standards across the Council.
You will be required to act as a financial lead with managing agents and all major development capital projects and be involved in the preparation, monitoring and reporting on commercial property budgets. You will also ensure that that VAT and other taxes are correctly accounted for. The role with report to the Chief Accountant and have no line management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will ideally be a CCAB Qualified Accountant with excellent spreadsheet skills and proven extensive experience in a finance role, preferably as an Accountant, within a Local Authority or similar organisation delivering finance services.
