Revenues and Benefits Apprentice
Grade SH01
This is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and well organised team player to join us in delivering a professional and exceptional Revenues and Benefits service to the public.
As a Revenues & Benefits Apprentice, your main role will be to learn and deal with all aspects of Council Tax billing, collection including enforcement and the processing of Housing Benefit/Council Tax assessments.
The 2-year Apprenticeship will see you working towards and achieving the Revenue and Welfare Benefits Practitioner – level 4 qualification through a practical work based scheme that allows you to learn, work and obtain a nationally recognised qualification at the same time.
You must be reliable, confident and comfortable working in a busy office environment. Previous experience of dealing with customers either in person or on the telephone would be desirable.
