Are you experienced in enforcement, particularly planning and looking for a new or developmental challenge? If so, you might be the person for us. 

Surrey Heath is a thriving district combining a large area of Green Belt, with environmentally important heathland areas and rural villages with a growing urban area in the west of the Borough 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to oversee the day to day Enforcement and Compliance casework. 

You will work closely with the Corporate Enforcement Team in leading and undertaking investigations on higher priority and more complex enforcement cases. 

You will be the lead officer in preparing and issuing enforcement notices and enforcement appeals including informal hearings, public inquiries and at court. In addition to this you will also act as the Case Officer on planning applications and will support the Development Manager in reviewing the enforcement function.
