We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to help develop our workforce through a culture of learning, development and talent management.

Following the approval of a new and ambitious Five Year Strategy for Surrey Heath, we are increasing our focus on delivering a ‘Workforce for the Future’, and have introduced this new role to help us achieve this goal.

You will take the lead on a number of learning & development, organisational development and culture change projects; and implement an annual corporate training programme, including mandatory training and induction. Talent management is an important part of our approach and you will help run and grow a number of our initiatives including apprenticeships, internships, graduate trainees, management development and mentoring. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels across the Council, successfully deliver across a range of change and learning projects and implement innovative and practical solutions.
